Association of Northwest Arkansas Riding Clubs

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this organization shall be to foster and advance horsemanship, sportsmanship,
and good fellowship in the Northwest area of Arkansas, and to better insure cooperation
between riding clubs of the area.

HISTORY:

The Association of Northwest Arkansas Riding Clubs was formed in 1970 to provide a series of
open breed horse shows in Northwest Arkansas. Over the years, ANWARC has evolved into a
highly successful association of area riding clubs, each of whom host a show under the direction
of ANWARC.

These shows are open to all exhibitors and all breeds. Membership in our association is not
required to show your horse. However, our year end award system is certainly worthy of your
consideration! Our biggest year was 2005, when an unprecedented total of $15,000 in awards
was distributed.

To be eligible for year end awards, an exhibitor must be a member of one of our member clubs
before points will accrue. Please refer to our Rule Book for further eligibility requirements.
Membership applications to most of our clubs are available to download from our Member
Clubs page.
